12 Feb 10 - In this group, it's all about what the camera can do - high resolution, fine detail, both ends of the ISO range, high and low speed, etc.
Make certain submitted images visible to everyone in full resolution, or our omniscient ThumbKiller bot will delete them.
If you've got a clip (like, an astro shot with a small subject) then embed it in a larger (> 1024, either axis) blank background. Don't do this for reductions.
Thank you. Come look at the pool and see what the 50D can do!

About Canon EOS 50D Users
Photos taken with (and diagrams, photos and videos of) Canon's EOS 50D camera, discussions of its merits, flaws (what?) and those little tricks that make a great camera into an indispensable one.
About the pool:
Submissions are limited to one a day. This is done so as to hopefully encourage you to pick your best shot. The goal is to develop a pool that shows diversity, not duplication.
Please don't post reductions of 50D images. Clips are ok; just don't submit images that have been reduced in size. This is a 15-megapixel camera. We want to see your pictures, not your thumbnails!
If your images have watermarks, they must be along the edges, small and tasteful. Images that smash a watermark over the main subject matter aren't of interest to the group and are subject to deletion.
Lastly, if your photos contain nudity or sexuality, they had better strike the admins and moderators as very "artsy" and beautiful and creative and of adults, or they're probably going to get tossed. Really step out line and you could be banned. The body is a lovely thing; make sure you portray it that way.
About the discussions:
Posts and/or threads that are abusive or otherwise do not contribute to the conversation or subject(s) at hand will be summarily removed. Stay on topic, and play nice!
