About Environmental Education

This group is has been created to serve as a gathering and sharing point for environmental educators. All resources posted to the group must have a direct application to the environmental educator. We warmly welcome interpreters, teachers, and others who engage in designing or administering environmental education programs and courses. The purpose of the group is to make resources available that can be directly used by fellow educators. Here you can share photos of lessons in progress or photos that demonstrate the creation of materials you have used. If you have been somewhere and taken an unusual or particularly interesting picture that highlights a major theme of environmental education that could be used by other educators to enhance a lesson plan or activity this is the place to share it. This group does not focus on sharing of indirect resources such as website URL’s, retail companies, or educational resource providers, all posting should stand alone as a directly usable resource for environmental education.
