About Entrance to Hell
A good example:
Gates, doors, windows, alleyways, deep holes, little sneaky openings into horrible nothingness, you get the idea? Entrances. Not descriptions, not statuary, trees, not wine glasses, fences, not signs, not celery.
Entrances.
To.
Hell.
Inspired by one gorgeously particular Entrance in Newcastle-upon-Tyne UK. Examples and ideas in abundance on this external website.
Post these pictures. We all have them in our photostreams, but make more.
Make them scary, make them horrible. Make them so very aweful and nasty you can hardly take their photograph without a stiff one. And when all the hairs stand up on the back of your neck, and you are shivvering and it isn't even cold, and then you stifle that ssssscream...
SHOOT!
Then breathe gently out and post that picture here.
Oh and Another Thing.
NO SQUARED CIRCLES.
These have been variously described as delicious, gorgeous, heavenly, scrumptious and, most heinous of all - buttons! As such they immediately and intrinsically disqualify themselves. Even a deep dark horrible hole, if it is perfectly round and cropped to a square, will be removed. No messing, no appeals.
No mercy.

1. Go to that photo's individual page
2. Click All Sizes
3. Click thumbnail or small
4. Click on the photo and drag to your browser's subject bar, the one where you type the name of a website.
5. Select the code and copy it. It will end in numbers and .jpg
6. Paste that code into your comments box. Add img src= to the front and enclose with pointy brackets.
7. Go back to the photopage and Copy the url of the page from your browser bar. Paste that in front of the previous code, beginning with a href= and again enclosing it with pointy brackets.
8. end the whole series of code with / a, again enclosed in pointy brackets.
9. practise this using the Preview pane, until you get it right.
10. If you get really stuck, mail me the code you're trying, and I'll show you.
It's very simple. Once you've done it a few times, you'll be typing it without having to think.
