Buildings are so funny and distinctive when all you can see is their top parts. If you laid on the floor and took pictures of all your friends from just their eyebrows up, it would look like this pool. If your friends were buildings, that is.

What goes in this pool?
Aerials that spindle up like spiny branches. Upper floors all squinty from foreshortening. Entablatures (look it up!) shunted off into the corner of the picture, dwarfed by clouds and sky sky sky. Vertigo in reverse (help, I'm falling up!). Who the hell looks up nowadays?

What doesn't go in this pool?
If the photo was not taken from below, it should be in another pool. If we can see the bottom part of the building, it should be in another pool. If we can see the middle part of the building ... you guessed it.

Blue skies not necessary.
