About Elephant Nature Park - Chiang Mai
The Elephant Nature Park, established in the 1990's in Chiang Mai, Thailand, is a unique project that aims to provide a sanctuary and rescue center for Asian elephants.
The park has been featured in various publications and TV Programs, including National Geographic, Animal Planet and the BBC, while it's founder Lek Chailert has been named 2005's Asian Hero of the Year by TIME magazine.
This is a non-official group of the ENP, but nonetheless was created in honor of this great woman whose vision has inspired so many others to do their part in conservation.
This is a group for visitors, volunteers, and partners to share their images and stories about their time at the Elephant Nature Park, as well as, to help promote it's various programs, and to help educate others about the plight of these gentle giants who helped build the amazing country that is Thailand.
Everyone is invited to join. The only rule here is to post images from the ENP; it's activities beyond the confines of the park; also accepted are other media-related articles/images about the organization.
Let our voice be heard: "HELP SAVE THE ELEPHANTS!"
