About THE ENGLISH RECTORY
A group for images of English rectories, vicarages, parsonages etc.
I'm constantly struck on church visits that the size of the rectory is inversely out of proportion to the church to which it administers/administered. A slice of our social history, it is often one of the most grand and beautiful buildings in the village and well worth recording.
England only please, not outlying u.k.countries, though I believe missionaries have been doing sterling work in the outposts. ;o)
