Same with me, unfortunately... Is anybody still doing further development, BTW? Or will 0.10beta R18 remain the status quo forever??

So, if ELA isn't going to work, what else is there? Anyone have any recommendations for other archive plugins?

cute_Leo [deleted] says:
ELA is not compatible with wp 2.3 because the structure of the database that wp 2.3 uses is much different from the legacy one.
Some table are added while some are not used anymore. And ELA tries to access those tables that don't exist. So here come the errors....
With ELA enabled, online editing fails, too.
Looking forward to the next version...

I get that error on 2.2.2 as well and I was thinking about upgrading to 2.3. Was getting a little worried when I saw that it didn't work in 2.3 either.
Thanks for the link zer0bh, I'll it out when I have the time :)

This kinda works, but all my posts By Date are bunched up together while the ones By Category are perfectly laid out in lists. Any ideas?

The link to the 'solution' above works for me, although the Tags are now like Categories were before, so when I add a Tag, ELA is not automatically displaying them. I have to clean up the cache first, which ofcourse is not very user friendly.
Class="selected" doesn't seem to be added within the Tags li, so not a yellow background but no background color.
And there is a strange column on the right that has borders but seems not to be used?
Hope there will be an update soon. This is the best archive plugin around, covers almost everything. A bit slow at loading, but after that pretty fast.
Would be nice if it's possible to add a searchform just like the one in WordPress, but that would display the results just like the dates/categories and tags inside ELA.

Can I order the Tags, most recent first? Just like with the date and categories?
Looks very good though, really an excellent way of displaying ones archive: www.spoenk.nl/weblog/index.php?page_id=1016 (still busy with adding tags...)

silluwet,
Your archive looks beautiful. How did you get it to work?
I'm having trouble with it on my site.
Do you use a special PHP enabling plugin?
Is this the correct call to use in a page:
Thanks
K

Hello Agentsully...
Didn't see your reply sooner, I'm sorry.
Yes, I use ExecPHP plugin for WordPress, but I don't know if that is necessary for ELA. The rest I did with CSS, but not much. Just the colors, font-size and the borders. Furthermore I used the adjusted version of the plugin as described above. The original plugin isn't working correctly yet.
If you should have another question, contact me through my site, because I don't visit this page very often...
