About EF 50mm 1:1.8 II

This group celebrates the capabilities of the diminutive, cheap, plastic lens that rounds out the bottom end of Canon's lens line-up. Please post photos taken with the Canon EF 50/1.8 mark II lens - or photos of the lens, if you're into that sort of thing.

By the way, there exists a similar group called Canon EF 50mm f1.8. But our group is more specific: it is devoted to the much-derided Mark II version of the 50/1.8 lens. (The Mark I had a metal mount, had a distance scale, and supposedly doesn't have as much decentering.)

Because this is a new group, I don't want to make any restrictions on the number of photos posted.
