About Edgbaston Reservoir, Ladywood
The Edgbaston Reservoir looks like a little bit of country in the heart of the city, but it was built by Thomas Telford in the 1820s to feed the canals that fed the industry that Britain's industrial heart was built on.
It is it's own micro-environment and, set in the heart of Ladywood, you can see the tower blocks rising above the barrage. The reservoir is popular for wildlife, the view, watersports, physical exercise and walking the dog among other things.
It is clearly an inspirational source of photography as can be seen by the vast panoply of photos scattered across Flickr. This group is for people to post their shots of the reservoir and it's immediate vicinity.

Thanks for sharing this photo. It would be great if you could add it along with any others you've taken of the reservoir to the Edgbaston Reservoir Group

If you have loadsa shots of the reservoir though, don't add them all in a row. That way we'll get a better spread of photos.
