31 May 11 - Welcome to The Edinburgh Chain Flickr group. If you take photographs in Edinburgh, and like puzzles, you might find this fun!
Just look at the most recent photo in the chain and you will see two notes, one of which is the thing to be included in the next photo in the chain. If you have a photo taken in Edinburgh that includes that thing, add it to the group and put a note on the photo to say what you would like to see included in the next photo.

About The Edinburgh Chain
Welcome to the Edinburgh Chain. The idea of this group is to build a chain of Edinburgh photos, where each photo incorporates an element from the one before.
Here's how it works. Look at the group pool (the last few pictures should be somewhere above). The most recently uploaded pic will have a note on it specifying what should be in the next photograph to be added to the pool.
Look at the last pic in the pool and see what the note says should come next.
Don't just upload a picture with the Forth Bridge in it because the last picture has the Forth Bridge in it!
If you have a photo in your stream that fits the bill, upload it, then add your own note to say what you want to see in the next photo. It can be something completely generic, like "a busker" or "a phone booth" or "a dog", or quite specific, like "Edinburgh Castle" or "Waverley Station" or "The Scottish Parliament", but it MUST actually appear in the photograph.
Obviously this means you should add ONE PHOTO ONLY at a time. ALL PHOTOGRAPHS MUST OBVIOUSLY BE TAKEN IN EDINBURGH. Please tag your photos with "edchain" - and remember to add a note saying what should come next.
Keep to the rules, keep the chain going, and let's see where we end up. And the more the merrier - invite your friends!
