Please remember to tag your photos with common and Latin name of the plant (if you know it), use, geographic region, and other keywords. This makes the pool searchable and much more useful for everybody. Thanks!

About Economic Botany

This group is for photos of economically used plants, such as vegetables, fruits, spices, herbs, medicinal plants, and plants used for oils, fibers, wood, or any other ethnobotanical use. Photos of their cultivation and products are welcome.

This group is not for cooked food - there are so many Flickr groups that already cover that.

Please tag your photos with common and Latin name (if you know it), use, and geographic region. BY adding your photos to this group you will let others help you tag your own photos, so the pool becomes searchable by teachers, students, and everybody else.

Without plants there would be no life on earth and no human civilizations - welcome to the pool!
