Welcome to Green & Eco Jewelry! A group for the creative exploration of eco-friendly jewelry.

To showcase & discuss recycled, recyclable, renewable, sustainable, natural and environmentally friendly materials, as well as, non-toxic and energy-efficient methods.

Works ranging from functional jewelry to temporary and conceptual art are encouraged. Pieces made of non-traditional alternative materials to those made using classic techniques and materials are all quite welcome.

Photos of eco-friendly jewelry and studios are all welcome!
* Recycled/reclaimed silver, gold, copper and other metals.
* Stones that are fair trade, conflict free & ethically sourced.
* Sustainable materials such as wool, felt, wood, soy, silk, cotton, bamboo, hemp, linen, paper, etc.
* Jewelry made of found objects, recycled, upcycled or repurposed materials such as: milk jug lids, plastic bags, street signs, books, twigs, etc.
* Eco friendly alternatives such as non toxic & biodegradable chemicals or materials.
* Green studios with solar panels, natural light, wind power, and more.
