The Congress Theatre. Devonshire Park Theatre, Winter Garden and Royal Hippodrome are the 'main' theatres. But we are also including the Underground Theatre and Bandstand. The Underground may be smaller but it's still an important and popular venue. As is the Bandstand which stages much more than bands.

About Eastbourne Theatres Eastbourne could arguably be called the theatre capital of the south-east of England. There are 6 wonderful venues all providing great entertainment The Congress Theatre The Royal Hippodrome The Winter Garden The Devonshire Park Theatre The Underground Theatre The Bandstand Yes the Bandstand! Perhaps not a theatre in the true sense of the word but this is a venue used for far more than traditional bands Please post your great images of anything to do with these 6 venues to this group. I will, of course, continue to add my own. There are no restrictions on photo type as long as it has been taken in or outside any of the venues. We could have: Theatre exteriors Interiors Shots at the stage door Shots in make-up Rehearsal shots Please ensure the material submitted has a good description in case the Eastbourne connection is not obvious. For example don't just post an artist in a dressing room saying this was in Eastbourne as that cannot be proved. Specific show names and approximate dates will be needed for verification. I would also like a few responsible individuals with a theatrical interest to join me in moderating this group (as ushers) and to help in seeking out good material.
