About East Sussex Wildlife
The members here are a group of photographers with a love of the wild in East Sussex. Most of us at this time are amateur snappers that enjoy being out in the wild, and taking photos of the natural world around us and sharing experience and tips we've picked up along our ways.
Our hope for this group is to inspire, educate, encourage, and help each other and support those which help to maintain the many wild spaces we are fortunate to have in East Sussex.
As photographers, we come from a wide range of backgrounds, view points, interests, experience, and equipment.

There are lots of fantastic East Sussex and British Nature related groups already on Flickr (as you can see from our list below), so why start another one?
Several of us are also members of Channel Hastings, which strives to promote photography of the Seaside Town of Hastings and 1066 area, and we felt that a lot of the nature photography might fit better in a group of it's own. We found that we sometimes traveled outside of areas that are local to Hastings and wanted to share and explore those as well, hence we decided to encompose East Sussex county in the group.
We don't expect this group to replace any of the fantastic groups listed below, but we wanted a place we could arrange meetings, share knowledge about the wild spaces/wildlife and conservation work in the county and to place an emphasis on the educational aspects of something we enjoy, and we hope you do as well.
