Your Georgia Nature Photos

Share your favorite Georgia nature photos with our online community and it could be featured on earthshareofgeorgia.org.

We are looking for photos of you getting outside with your family and friends in Georgia! Just get outside, take some pictures of nature or nature with people, with whatever digital camera you have, and then come back and share them with our online community on Flickr™.

New pictures will be selected by June 19, 2009 (see the legal details below), and posted on the new and improved EarthShare of Georgia website coming in July 2009 earthsharega.org and also our printed materials.

Submit Your Photos using Flickr™
Basically, all you need to do is add your photos to the EarthShare of Georgia group and tag them EarthShare of Georgia-09.
Need more specifics? Flickr is an online photo sharing web site that is made up of many groups, including an EarthShare of Georgia group. To add a photo to Flickr, just follow these easy steps:
1. Log on -- To submit your photos via Flickr™, use your Yahoo!® ID to login to www.flickr.com. If you do not have an account, you can sign-up for free.
2. Join the EarthShare of Georgia Flickr group - If you are not already a member of the EarthShare of Georgia's group on Flickr™, join by clicking "Join this Group?" on the group's homepage.
3. Upload an image - After logging in, upload your images using the form provided. (Please submit photos sized 1280 x 1024 pixels minimum.)
4. Send the Image to Our Group - Browse to the image you wish to submit for the contest, and use the "Send to Group" function above the image to add your photograph to the EarthShare of Georgia's photo pool.
5. Tag it! -- Once added to the group, tag each photo with EarthShare of Georgia-09 through the "tag" feature in the right-hand column of the individual photo's page.
That's it! You're entered.
Best of all, by using Flickr, everyone in our online community can see your nature photos and be inspired by the great state of Georgia!
