About Earth From the Air
This group is for photographs in the style of Yann Arthus-Bertrand's 'The Earth from the Air' exhibition (see URL below).
There are other groups that simply seek photographs from aeroplanes, but this one will specifically feature aerial photographs that provide an aesthetically satisfying insight into some aspect of geography, geology, natural history or human life on the surface of the earth.
Photographs taken from any altitude qualify, but they must be taken from some sort of flying machine, and they must be both instructive and of reasonable artistic quality (self-regulated!).
