About Early Ford Taurus
A collection of images and/or videos of first and second generation (1986 - 1995) Ford Tauruses, as well as its sister car, the Mercury Sable.
Although many now view the Ford Taurus with derision for any given reason, the original version was actually quite an influential vehicle bristling with new features and innovations. Even the styling alone marked a transition point in the American auto industry from boxy, un-aerodynamic cars to the many slippery shapes that followed.
Consider also that these cars served as daily transport for millions, and that their numbers are rapidly dwindling, and you're left looking at a future classic!
Not much in the way of rules for this group. Just make sure that a 1986-1995 Taurus or Sable is the main subject of the image, or that it features prominently otherwise. Clean group, no nudity please.
