About Early Advertising (pre 1920)
Specifically, advertisements dating from before 1920. I am choosing this forty year period because this is when advertising evolved from its earliest roots providing straightforward product and service information to the art form it became by the 1920s.
Submissions should come from original sources, preferably those you own. Minor defect corrections are acceptable, but major reconstructions (especially those involving intuitive replacement of missing parts) should be avoided.
Hopefully, over time we will be able to accumulate a respectable number of examples of these artifacts that will be both interesting and useful.
