About Dudley borough

This group is all about Dudley borough.

Whether you are from the borough, live in a neighbouring area or are from miles away, we want you to know a bit about the council and the borough it serves.

Once at the heart of the Industrial Revolution, Dudley borough consists of four main towns: Brierley Hill, Dudley, Halesowen and Stourbridge. Each has a wealth of heritage, from Stourbridge’s Glass Quarter to Dudley’s 12th century castle, from Halesowen’s historic Leasowes Park to Brierley Hill’s modern retail delights. The towns contribute their own different qualities to the borough making it a special and fascinating place.

If you’re new to the area then you’ll be impressed with what we have to offer. Already rich in history the borough has a distinctive character with plans to make it even better for our 300,000 residents.

We are incredibly proud of our borough; it’s a unique and very special place.
