About what the DUCK ???

'what the DUCK' (WTD) is simply a group for posting any duck or duckling pictures and related discussions, stories or jokes, etc., etc., etc.

You can post pictures of, or discuss about or do anything flickrish about or related to any of the following:

live ducks,
cooked ducks,
plastic ducks,
ceramic ducks,
drawings of ducks,
ducklings with anything or anyone - (keeping it 'family orientated' of course)
ducks on water,
ducks on land,
ducks flying,
ducks drawn on a piece of paper/boxes, walls, anywhere,
the word duck written in longhand ,

any thing as long as it's ducky !!!

I was never endeared with ducks as pets - as food yes - Schzechuan style or as classical Duck a L'Orange, and in pate of course, but I have grown to like them, and they are the funniest characters instead of the boring beaks I thought they were. I won't go as far as to say that they have astute senses of humour like donkeys do, but they sure know how to have a good quack.

WTD is dedicated to my best and longest school friend's grandmother who called everyone 'ducks'. She was a wonderful woman, a hardworking, proud, chain smoking lady with a big heart and she owned and worked in one of the best pie and mash shops in the East End's Hoxton Market, God rest Nanny Voaden/Exeter.
