About Emirati Corner
This group is for interaction with Emirati people, i.e. nationals of United Arab Emirates (UAE) which is a flourishing country in the Middle East.
This group has also been nominated in the 'Excellence in Groups with 200-500 members' during the Flickys 2005 (Of course, now we're twice that number!). So proud of every member here :)

UAE consists of seven Emirates: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al-Qaiwain (UAQ), Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) and Fujairah. The founding father of the nation was Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (May God bless his soul in eternal peace) who not only pulled the seven emirates together by rising above tribal rivalries, but also showed the country the face of modernisation. After his death on November 2, 2004 - his son Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan is now the ruler of Abu Dhabi and the President of UAE.
Non-UAE nationals are (of course!) welcome to join the group, but please remember the below:
1. No nudity or porn
2. No offensive remarks against any culture or religion
3. No flooding! No more than 3 pics AT A TIME - the excess will be deleted by me (without any notice).
Repetition of any of the above offences may lead to being kicked/banned.
Please report to the admins if you find anything offensive in the pictures pool.
So everybody, get going! Post threads that allow us to educate, exchange thoughts and ideas, play games (aha!) or just share incidences.
The main reason for the group's existance is to reflect the Emirati spirit through words and pictures...to share each other's daily experiences in the Diary...to apologize if we've been bad...to celebrate birthdays...to share daily happiness and sadness...to share our wishes and get to know a bit more about each other...to kill boredom by playing guessing games, other games, games, games and more games!
