Q: F-Chrome color mode?
A: Fuji FinePix´s in-camera Chrome-emulator.

Q: Real Chrome?
A: Chrome is another word for SLIDE or Transparency film.
Instead of negatives, light produces "positives" in the developed film.
Just projecting light through it will give a nice image on a screen/wall.
Since it uses finer grain, it can be printed in big sizes, compared to negative film. Therefore, professionals prefer Chrome. Of course, there is Medium Format that can handle even more...
About color: there isn't the additional process of printing, so what you see in the developed slide IS what you have. (no influence of lab printing variations), also a feature pros like.

Q: Fuji's Velvia?
A: It´s a nice chrome that saturates the colors, increases the contrast and has lower latitude.

-----
This effect (colors/saturation) can be simulated without the expense of buying/developing/scanning/printing Chrome if you choose Digital F-Chrome.

If you don´t like the hassle of PShopping and don´t intend to print giant sized pics; the color/saturation out of the camera can be great (with F-Chrome), if only it could get close enough to this amazing REAL Chrome... Some say digital doesn´t give the same color graduation...

I hope you like it as much I do!
R.T.
