24 Oct 08 - Can people please note that the description says 'drinking' fountains. Ornamental and purely architectural features do not count and we are getting a lot of these. However, features with taps (faucets) and spigots rather than fountains are OK, as are old urban pumps. The emphasis is on the provision of drinking water (even if that was in the past)...

About Urban drinking fountains and troughs

This is for pictures of those often forgotten and usually non-functional water features that adorn our city streets and parks. It is not for pictures of functional rural animal drinking troughs - or for ornamental fountains not aimed at providing drinking water.
