First and foremost I’d have to say thanks a million to Gabriel [ . ~ BläckWïtch™ ~ . ] for inviting me to exhibit my work in this group dreamy and bizarre fantasy. It’s certainly a huge honour, I hate to sound pathetic, but it is. And thanks to all who stop by this group, it means al lot to me.

About me and my “work”.
I started taking photo’s digitally three years ago and fell in love with it instantly. When I discovered flickr in the summer of 2006 it really took off. Seeing what others do inspired me bigtime and made me explore my own possibilities even more.

Inspiration comes from so many different things, I wouldn’t know where to begin so I’m not starting ☺.

Mostly I’m just in love with beautiful images, any kind and and any style. I try to create beautiful images myself. Most of the time I don’t feel succesfull at that. But I keep trying and creating because I can’t seem to stop. Call it an addiction, when I don’t want to do it I find myself doing it anyway.
Doing this renders me pleasure, it’s so much fun and it’s an outlet for moodswings. It’s expressing myself through images. This is who I am. I like diversity, so just one style isn’t my style.
The biggest kick however is the processing part. I hardly never post an image without processing it first. Just taking a shot and posting it isn’t my cup of tea. There seams to be no effort in that, however beautiful the shot is. Don’t get me wrong I do appreciate a perfect original shot but for me It’s not finished until photoshop has done it’s part. That could be only a crop or a slight curve, but it could also be a huge alteration to the original. I love that!

So that’s my preoccupation with photography/imagery in a nutshell.

Primero y por mucho tengo que decir un millón gracias a Gabriel [ . ~ BläckWïtch™ ~ . ] por invitarme a exhibir mi trabajo en este grupo Dreamy and Bizarre Fantasy. Es ciertamente un gran honor, odio sonar patética, pero así es. Y gracias a todos los que estan en este grupo, significa mucho para mi.

Acerca de mi "trabajo".
Comenzé a tomar fotos digitales desde hace tres años y me enamoré instantáneamente. Cuándo descubrí Flickr en el verano del 2006, fue difícil dejarlo ir. Ver lo que otros hacen me inspira en serio y me hace explorar mis propias posibilidades aún más.

La inspiración proviene de muchisimas y diferentes cosas, no se ni siquiera por donde empezar.

En gran parte estoy enamorada de las imágenes hermosas, de cualquier tipo y estilo. Trato de crear imágenes hermosas yo misma. La mayor parte de las veces no me siento convencida de eso. Pero sigo intentando y creando ya que no puedo parar. Llamalo una adicción, cuándo ya no quiero hacerlo, me encuentro a mi misma haciendolo de cualquier manera.

Hacer todo esto me dá placer, es demasiado divertido y es una salida para todo este humor. Es expresarme a mi misma a través de imágenes. Esto es lo que soy. Me gusta la diversidad, así que un solo estilo no es mi estilo.

Lo mejor de todo es desde luego la parte del procesado. Dificilmente posteo una imagen sin primero procesarla. Solo tomar una foto y postearla no es en verdad lo que me llena. Pareciera que no hay ningún esfuerzo en ello, así sea una toma hermosa. No me malinterpreten, aprecio una toma original y perfecta, pero para mi, no está terminada del todo hasta que el Photoshop ha hecho su parte. Eso puede ser solo un corte o darle una pequeña curva tonal, pero puede ser también una gran alteración de la original. Amo eso!.

Así que esa es mi preocupación con la imagen/fotografía. Espero que les guste lo que he hecho.
