11 Aug 07 - Welcome one and all to the great graveyard for what was once usefull and invaliable. There were many great inovations in drafting instruments and techniques over the lifespan of paper drafting. With the advent of higher speed computers in the past 20 years (my first machine ran at 25MHZ), architecture and engineering instruments have been sent the way of the Brontosaurus. Less than a handfull of company still make instruments for draftsmen and even less make any oy of quality.
