What is Drag Bingo?
It’ just a silly game. It's outrageous. It's funny. It's DRAG BINGO.
Mary K Mart – a spectacular and beloved local performer - hosts the event and is supported by her BVDs – Bingo Verifying Divas – Chocolate Shakes, Winnie Baygo, Mini Mart, Betty Ford, Cruella, Miss Skittles, Roxy, Ho-She Man, and Yoko Homo, etc.. Drag Bingo generates income benefiting the Alliance AIDS Services - Carolina through admission ticket sales, bingo cards and food sales.
The Alliance of AIDS Services – Carolina’s mission is to serve people living with HIV/AIDS, their loved ones, caregivers, and communities at large, through compassionate and non-judgmental care, prevention, education, and advocacy.
“This epidemic affects us all,” says Mary K Mart, “We all know someone in our lives that is affected by the letters HIV.” And now Mary is onstage leading the fight! She asks us all to give our best and pledges to, “continue playing Drag Bingo until this plague is over!”
