About Downtrodden Docks

This site is dedicated to images of abandoned docks and piers. The look is specific: a row of wooden poles sticking out of the water, a skeletal trace of a structure that was once a place where people boarded and unboarded water vessles. They were once places of commerce, adventure, and leasure. But now, these docks stand like phantoms of a past time, clinging to our world until their bones finally sink into the muck below.

Sorry, but other nautical-themed pictures will be deleted, like cranes, boats, and what is not a derelict dock.
