About Islands on Islands
This is a group for images of islands on other islands: islands in lakes or rivers on one of the world's islands.
Another term for them is "double islands" -- and there are even a few triples in the world.
Note that the island has to be ON an island, NOT adjacent to it or connected to it, to qualify.
Great Britain, Ireland, Japan, Indonesia, and New Zealand have many culturally interesting examples, and double islands are also numerous in Canada, the United States, Sweden, Norway, and Finland.
