Sedet in pes de Bardia, pagu attesu
dae su mare opalinu, e hat de fronte,
zigantes tra larghissumu orizzonte,
Mont’Albo, s’Ortobene ei s’Orgolesu.

Li riet su sole d’oro e l’ests i’ mesu
garrula de perenne abba una vonte;
creschet s’arranzu, s’ulumu, e a monte
ingranit su listincu d’oro accesu.

Hat buscos e pastura, una ricchesa
dsvelantesi ancora a frore ‘e terra
e binos dignos de regale mesa;

fizzos chi s’aspru logu ‘ortana in serra
de ridente coltura, e chin fieresa
ischin bincher o morrer oje in guerra
