About Doorbells With Unnecessary Instructions

Sometimes the presence of a doorbell isn't enough. People need to add arrows and instructions.

I don't care how big the pool gets; quality is definitely better than quantity.

YES: A sign saying: Bell -->
NO: A sign saying: Bell broken, please knock.

One is unnecessary. One isn't.

YES: A sign saying: Please ring.
NO: A sign saying: If no one answers, please wait.

One is unnecessary. One isn't.

We all see office doors with instructions to couriers... so there's no point adding them. Bells that have the word 'push' or 'press' integrated into their design are ten a penny and there are plenty of doorbell groups that would welcome such shots.

But when someone feels the need to add a sign to their door to explain how to operate a doorbell that nobody could fail to understand or simply feels the need to point out a doorbell that is sitting beside the door in the place you'd expect a doorbell to be... then it's interesting.

When someone looks through the pool you want the pictures to make them think, 'but... but... why?' and not just, 'oh... they're doorbells'
