our first ever group contest is now being held! we have reached 45 members, which i think is enough to start our first contest. we have enough participants, and you also have the chance to invite people to the group to join in on the contest too.
the theme for our first contest if Dogs & Water. you pretty much have some freedom with this. this doesn't mean you have to have your dog in the pool. it could have a hose, puddles, bath, beach, etc... anything you can think of to match our theme.
remember to have those dogs though, thats mostly whats important. feel free to have more than one dog in the photo, more than one makes it more creative anyway.

lets start out our contest with a few rules:

1. Dogs only

2. Must be Water present

3. 3 photo entry limit per person

4. number your photos(so make sure you check the last poster's last number before numbering your own)

5. Medium sizes only, use first HTML code

6. leave your dog's name or breed if you wish :D

7. if your photo is off theme it will simply be deleted and you will have to replace it or the number will be skipped in voting

8. i will change the title when voting time comes, there will then be a board posted with the winner

9. voting will last a couple of days after the entry deadline

10. winner's photo will be posted on the homepage, w/ their username, contest number, and theme. this is so we know what contest and what the theme was when we look back.

11. your own photos, no stealing other peoples' work.

12. respect one another, and share your waterdog photos :D

13. cannot vote on your own photos

14. choose 3 numbers during voting. this way we can determine which numbers have the most votes and then choose the winner from there.

*that is all for now. i will let you all know if there are more rules added, but i think that pretty much settles it there. deadline and voting dates will be thought out and added in later. it mostly depends on how many entries we can get in here. good luck to everyone and have fun :D*
