[Saber Lily wig detatching?] It detached. Anyone who's experienced this willing to repair?

Is this signs of Saber Lily's ponytail beginning to detach, or is this normal for her wig because of her big bow? I want to make sure, because if her wig is starting to detach, I would like to reinforce it before it completely falls off. I've heard so many horror stories about that already! Everything else seems pretty secure for now, but I'm afraid of this happening.

Can anyone take a quick look at their own Saber Lily wigs and tell me if it looks the same or not?

The ponytail finally decided to detach itself today. QUALITY, Volks. QUALITY. I apparently can't ask Volks to replace it, because I had to buy her off a Y!J auction, and they won't replace wigs bought off auction. I can't buy another wig off auction either, because they're going up over $400 (which would end up over $600 with deputy fees), and that is just simply too much.

Has anyone been able to repair their wigs? My roommate and I have been trying to repair the wig, but the hole in the netting is way too small for the stub to go through. If anyone's willing to help, or even repair the wig for us, please drop a line!

I can't really say since I do not have Saber. But if you feel it is beginning to detach, then I would not hesitate to reinforce it (better safe than sorry). Meanwhile, you should be extra careful when taking off and on saber's wig. Try not to use the ponytail to attach or adjust the wig.

Most of Volks' ponytail wigs are sewn on, so they do sometimes come off. Luckily though, the ponytail can be sewn back on and is not difficult to do.

It is coming off... I have exactly the same issue with mine.....

I wrote to Volks and they will replace mine. Have you tried writing to Volks to see if they will replace yours?

>_< I'm sorry to hear what happened to the ponytail.

Even if Volks is willing to 'replace' your wig - will the replacement be any better? ._.

Any word on whether Volk's replacement wig has better durability?

Nothing ground breaking, just a little preventative maintenance on my Lily's wig.

After pulling Lily's wig out to work on it, I strongly believe the action of pulling the wig in/out will affect the stability of the stub and cause the ponytail to slip. That's in part due to the fact that the fitting between the Lily's wig cap and the head is extremely tight. Any kind of distortion on the wig cap will affect the stability of the stub. Gluing the stub together is probably the only proper solution to this but I am not kin on taking the wig apart and glue it.
