About Do Good
Do good. Get the credit. (The tax credit that is). Cyber Giving Week is the last week of the year when most people make their online donations to charities. Yahoo! is partnering with Network for Good to remind people to donate to causes they care about before December 31, 2008.
This Flickr group was started to encourage donors to upload photos of causes that inspired them to give back and thus motivate others to give back too!
What causes are you passionate about?
Upload photos of your favorite causes to raise awareness. Share images of volunteers at a beach clean up, participants at an AIDS walk, food piled high at a local food bank. Or simply share a photo of some piece of nature you'd like to preserve.
Be sure to tag the photos because we are featuring the most popular tags on the donation page which will link to your photos!
Here's how you do it:
STEP 1: Join this group (requires a Yahoo! ID)
STEP 2: Upload a cause-related photo to your Flickr Account
i. Add tags to your photo so others can find it, i.e. environment, education, poverty
STEP 3: Add your photo to this Group.
i. Go to your newly uploaded photo
ii. Click the "Send to Group" button
iii. Select "Do Good" (you joined this group in STEP 1)
STEP 4: Add your photo to our world map. If your photo is in our pool, it will automatically show up on our map.
STEP 5: Tell Your Friends to visit www.flickr.com/groups/dogood/
