About Our Dog Photography - Giant Breeds Contest Voting NOW!

This group is for quality dog photos. Quality of photographs will influence whether they're approved/denied/or deleted. Things like focus, composition, tones, file quality, etc., will be considered. Any photos out of focus (for no artistic reason), photos that have been edited poorly in photoshop (bad lassos, etc.), photos with a noticeable amount of noise, and photos of extremely poor quality will be always be denied. Please, no snapshots! Photos without flash and with consideration of the rule of thirds are always a plus. :)

Please do not repost photos that have previously been denied.

This is a group dedicated to man's best friend. You also need to be willing to give & receive constructive criticism.

All photos must contain dogs - wild dogs, domesticated dogs, old dogs, puppies, nice dogs, mean dogs, happy dogs, sad dogs, sleeping dogs, dog paws, dog noses, big dogs, small dogs, all dogs! The photos can include humans, other animals, architecture, landscape, etc., so long as a dog is among the main subjects of the photo.

No nudity, obscenities, rude or malicious behavior. After 1 warning you will be banned from the group.

Absolutely no dead or hurt dogs or photos of dogs being abused. You will be warned once and then banned if you post something of this nature again. Dogs that have been injured but received veterinary attention, dogs that have been abused but are being rehabilitated are welcome. The intent is to just keep this a place of positive vibes celebrating one of the most beloved animals in all of nature.

Constructive criticism is always welcome. And please respond kindly to any you may receive. (www.flickr.com/groups/our_animal_photography/discuss/7215...)

No more than 2 photos per day, only so that you don't run out and we can continue seeing your wonderful dog photos and keeping the photos high quality can be possible. :)

Do not re-submit your photos if they're denied. If you continue after 1 warning you will be removed from the group, and after 2 you will be banned.

Please tag your photos with the breed of dogs in the photo. I will tag your photo with HighQualityDogs - which will tell you that your photo has been approved and re-approved during sweeping and will not be deleted by us from the group pool.

Please comment on other photos in the group pool.
