About DOCPOP - Documentary Photographers of Perth
DOCPOP welcomes photographers of Perth, Westen Australia, who possess a leaning towards documentary-style or photojournalism photography. This group aims to engender discussion of the styles, strategies and spirit of photojournalism/documentary photography amongst Perth-based photographers, as well as to alert members to events that may be worthwhile documenting through photography.
Photographers are invited to submit as many photographs to the Group Pool, within the following guidelines:
- Avoid posting family portraits, pet portraits and the like as they do not fit the philosophy of the group.
- Aim to include a mix of photographs from one event or situation, so that viewers can obtain a more complete sense of the context of the images shown in the photographs.
