About Duluth Missabe and Iron Range
In 2004, Canadian National acquired the Duluth Missabe and Iron Range (DMIR), ending a chapter of another great regional. The power stayed intact for a few years, but CN made quick work of retiring most of the roster. Any photos or video of the DMIR DMIR, or related to the Ex DMIR system can be added, past or present. Examples include DMIR Power, DMIR Steam Power, DMIR Repaints, fomer DMIR units, DMIR Historical Items, DMIR rolling stock, BLE Twins, IC Reassignments, EJ&E Power , GTW 6221, All Rail Ore Trains/Run Through Power, leased DMIR power, and the WC Grey Ghosts that got sent up.
