I decided to run this new group to provide us a conscious and sober view of the present life of Saint-Petersburg's center, it's transforming space, it's speech so faintly heard from under the shouting layers of advertisements, ribald embellishments and the heaviest traffic. Please, be journalists but be artists as well. I leave myself and my friend Gora138 the right to delete anything, that to our opinion doesn't fit the theme.

About The disease of Saint-Petersburg

Our hometown is badly ill. One of the most significant historical centers of Europe is suffering a lot. The metastases of this illness are spread throughout all of it's tissue, destroying and perverting it. It's stuck to any area of the city's life, to the people as well, it's within us. This pool is for those who feel the same.

Let's not search for the postcard views of the city. It's enough of them. Let's not try to close our eyes on what's going on. Let's pay attention to the problem itself, to the ulcers and wounds, so the deadly disease of Saint-Petersburg will be obvious to us and to everyone.

I'm not hoping that it can be cured, but we must not speak of a cure if we haven't figured out the diagnosis.
