About Disappearing Norfolk
Norfolk is about to undergo a massive change in the way it looks.
Loads of new quarries are currently being planned, which will result in great swathes of the countryside being lost, towns like Kings Lynn are about to have their character radically changed by new developments such as marinas and appartment blocks, and a large portion of the Norfh Norfolk coastal defences are about to be deliberately breached so that a great swathe of the land can be returned back to the sea from whence it came.
This group exists as a sort of online photographic museum.
An archive of images showing future generations how Norfolk looked before the great irreversible changes took place.
All Norfolk photographers are urged to get out and take shots of the places that are scheduled for change while they still can, and add them to this group.
Hopefully, we can all work together to create a fascinating historic archive of a changing landscape.
