DEFINITION:
What it IS: In THIS photo pool, a diptych = your photograph + your friend's photograph
What it is NOT: a diptych ≠ your photo + your photo [Why? please see PURPOSE below]
***Due to time constraints, diptychs that do not follow the stated rule will be deleted without any warning. ***
PURPOSE:
To document a visual dialogue between two Flickr photographers beyond the comment box and fave button. Together it is a cross-fertilization of subjects, ideas, colors, textures, dreams, nightmares, anxieties, and hopes.
STEPS:
-1: Ask your friend for a photograph (G-rated; no visible genitalia). Please remember that you do not own the copyright to this photo.
-2: Join this photograph with your own to form a diptych.
-3: Ask yourself: Is the diptych composed of two PHOTOGRAPHS?
If yes, proceed to step 4; If no, return to step 1.
-4. Read the Diptych_This! Group Guidelines
-5: IMPORTANT: After uploading your diptych, PLEASE indicate
***i) your collaborator's name and/or photoset link
***ii) the diptych is for the "Diptych_This!" group
***iii) tag: Diptych_This! (If you forget to do this, that's ok, your humble admins will add the tag for you. Please forgive our intrusion when we do it.)
