About Best of the Digital Storytelling Project

This is a group that displays the best pictures taken by Kenyan children and youth in the Digital Storytelling Project run by the Undugu Society of Kenya (USK). Students can submit their best photos to be displayed here.

USK is an NGO based in Kenya that works towards the socio-economic empowerment of poor and marginalized communities, specifically children and youth. The students in the Digital Storytelling Project range from 14 to 22 years of age and all live/have lived on the streets or in informal settlements of Nairobi.

They have been taught blogging and photography in order to advocate for issues affecting their lives. Visit each student's photostream for more pictures.
