This new Davis, CA plans to post the results of their monthly challenges on flickr for everyone to enjoy. While we're still organizing, we plant to create art quilts using

Challenge 1 (Diptych): create a quilt dipytch (try saying that three times in a hurry!)
Challenge 2 (Kaleidoscope): cut and duplicate a piece from a photo
Challenge 3 (Divide and Shuffle): Cut pieces from a digital image and rearrange them
Challenge 4 (Cut Through Layers): layer multiple images, cut shapes out of top layers to reveal parts of images in lower layers
Challenge 5 (Turtle): starting with a photo of a turtle taken by Mike Hart in Hawaii, cut, rearrange, and blend to create an 8-inch square
Challenge 6 Create and use a Pattern
Challenge 7 Do something wonderful with a Brush that you have created filled with a solid color or a pattern
Challenge 8 Use the techniques demonstrated by Kathyann White and your photos to create repeating designs
Challenge 8 Take a photo a day for 30 days and arrange them in a pleasing layout
