This group is for photography beginners and enthusiasts who are passionate about their photography and would like to show and share their pictures with others.

We are all learning all the time and welcome your interaction and comments.

I’ve been a self taught professional photographer since 1993. Being self taught I completely understand the frustrations of trying to master what is a huge and complex subject.

When I was learning it seemed to me that most of the books and tutors were more interested in showing how clever they were – rather than helping me take pictures!

All our photography videos' content is based on what our subscribers ask us for - and they're filmed in real world situations.

We’ll add at least five new films per month to the photography videos section – all of it driven by what you’ve asked for! So please visit the video section on the site and tell us what you’d like us to film next.

The first films are all about choosing the right camera for you and then learning what you need to start taking the pictures you always hoped for – quickly and simply.

Who We Are
We're Mike Browne and Jayne Whitelock. I've (Mike) been a professional photographer and worked on everything from PR, commercial and social commissions. I even did a short stint as a TV camera man.

Jayne is an experienced broadcast TV producer who’s made television for all the UKs major broadcasters. One of her programs for BBC City Hospital won the coveted Royal Television Society Award.

We're both passionate about pictures - and we're nice friendly people too!
