The point of this group is to learn digital darkroom techniques from each other.

It is not yet-another-pool for you to dump your work in, in the quest for more views, comments and favs. If that is your need, then please join one of those you-stroke-my-back-and-i'll-stroke-yours groups. There are hundreds of mutual appreciation society groups out there that'll give you far better return than this one.

If you have a problem with this attitude... then tough!

About The Digital Darkroom

This group is dedicated to people who want to teach, learn or discuss digital darkroom techniques.

The focus is on bringing the best out of photographs in the same way that, say, black and white photographers do in their darkrooms.

It is not about applying something like Photoshop\'s \'Color Pencil\' effect to an image. There are plenty of other groups out there dedicated to the more extreme forms of photo manipulation.

Things you can do:

1. Get help with a problem 'negative'. Start a thread titled "Neg: " and tell us what you're looking for in the way of help. Link to the problem image and allow people to take a copy, play with it, and re-submit it to the thread.

2. Help someone with their pic. Show us what you can do with a problem negative, and tell us how you did it.

3. Post a tutorial. Start a thread titled "Tutorial: ". Basic or Sophisticated, what ever you think will help people out.
