07 Feb 08 - At first, I thought it would be nice to have a Florida only group so that maybe we could actually live close enough to some other artists to have a show now and then or at least a meeting of some kind for fun. I just couldn't have a group and not invite my friends though.This group is just for digital artists who use Painter, Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, etc and want to meet other digital artists to exchange ideas and put digital art on the map!

About Florida Digital Artists and Friends From Everywhere

This group is for Florida artists (and people who live here in the winters and visit here) who create art using a computer and any of their ditigal artist friends from around the globe. Welcome if you use Wacom or other tablets, Corel Painter X, Twisted Brush, Art Rage, Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, etc are welcome to join! Paint from scratch or inspired based art.
Links to tutorials are great.

If you don't know how to do photo inspired art, such as photo manipulation, I can teach you for free. It is a great way to learn to paint and shade things before you try to do it from scratch. It is such a fastrack to painting that it is amazing! Did I say free lessons?

I think a lot of people don't realize how far digital art has become and the ways to print it are so much better now and the inks and paper or canvases are better designed to last a long time. With the new popularity of digital frames, I feel it will be lots more popular with new age collectors.

Rules are easy, post often, nudity is ok, nothing vulgar please. Offensive content will be removed by the administrator.

You don't have to comment but it would be nice to at least look at other people's art and comment sometimes. We all love attention!
