About digilo-fi
A place for all your
digital lofi, toy and oldschool pictures.

i love old toy\lofi film cameras, unfortunately i lack some of the
fundamental requirements for being a true lomographer.
1 - funds
the never ending stream of film stock and processing pocket money
seriously interferes with beer funds.
2 - patience
i want it and i want it now, what? wait around for my photos? are
you insane?
3 - workflow
take some photos, take the film to the shop, get it developed, go
back the next day, look at your prints, scan the negatives, fix the
problems the crap automatic printing machine created, then upload
them to flickr. BAH, not for me.
a few pointers (read as rules)
digital only - like durrrrrr
3 megapixels or less - its about style\content over quality
comment your own photos - a lot of the lofi digicams don't
have exif data, its nice to know what images are taken with and any
techniques involved
post production - if you've done anything to your images in
post, let us know. we're not "purists" here (that's why we're using
digital) again it's all about community and sharing hints and tips.
phone photos - yep. mobile\cell photos are cool, but not of
your friends drunk in the street or your
girlfriend's\boyfriend's\dog's ass. photograph is art after all
(honest)
