About Devon Models
Bringing together amateur photographers and models who simply want more experience. As a photographer looking for models myself, I realised it is almost impossible unless you already have a portfolio of shots - something of a catch 22 situation.
You do not need to post high quality images as the idea here is to bring together models and photographers looking for experience. Photographers without model experience can post any shots, preferably of people, to demonstrate their ability and interests. Models can post anything of themselves that shows what they look like and the types of shot they are interested in.
Models are just people who are willing to pose for photographs - it doesn't matter what you look like. You must be over 18 for legal reasons, although 16 and 17 year olds can join with the permission of a guardian or parent, and must be accompanied at all times during photo shoots. Models under 16 should only seek modelling work through established agencies who can provide the necessary legal cover.
Absolutely NO nudes, semi-nudes or provacative poses here - this is an all-ages group.
YOU are responsible for your own safety. Always meet in a public place and preferably take a friend along. Never get in a car or visit the home of a stranger. Always tell someone where you are going and who you are meeting - even if only by leaving a note.
I would encourage members to make contact through the discussion board rather than by direct message. This provides an extra level of security for all concerned.
