About Behind the mask
Much like the Big Issue in London, Hormigon Armado is sold by people who may be homeless. The lustrabotas or lustracalzadores get the opportunity to make an income from selling the paper to Pacenas, tourists and other Bolivians for just 3Bs. There´s a problem... encountering a lustrabota for the first time may be an edgy exerience as some of them choose to remain annonomous and wear ´gorros´, a balacalava covering their face. This group is to use photos and learn from exeriences of those that encounter the boys on the street and make Horigon Armado a pleasure to buy and a joy to read... Saludos, Paul
