Images that symbolise the impacts of lack of democracy in terms of sustdainable development.

Examples could include pictures of community consultation on issues of social, environmental and economic development concern; environment-related protests and demonstrations; parliamentary sessions related to sustainable development; voting on environmental or sustainable development issues; images that symbolise democracy not working for sustainable development - or that highlight links between undemocratic processes and sustainable development impacts.

What's sustainable development? Basically it's about taking an integrated approach to pursuit of environmental, economic and social goals. Or the now famous language - 'development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs'..

I was inspired to set up the group by the extreme difficulty I had finding suitable 'democracy and sustainable development' images for a website I was involved in.
