Rita was our cat - Feral one moment, and docile the next. When she was young, she was strong, athletic and very agile. She knew how to be sweet, and she knew how to be really friggin aggresive. She once scared the cleaning lady right out of our house, running for her life!
Photo from November 2005, age 14 years, and 27 pounds. Rita left us Saturday, August 5, 2006.

We put Katie in the family pet cemetery out on the farm, where there are about 50 years worth of pets. So she's with some very good company.

Sorry, Pixxo and Eve.
My cats always died of rat poisoning or they disappeared for months and would come home only to get run over by the neighbours. We lived beside acres of bush and a busy roadside. I must've had about 13 cats between the ages of 7 - 11 (they usually picked me to keep them), and I always had a broken heart!
It's a wonderful thing that you both loved your cats to old age.
