Tattoo Care
Taking Care of your Tattoo is crucial. If it is not
properly cared for then the quality of the tattoo may
diminish so you must take the advice very seriously if
you want to keep your Tattoo looking fresh and
fabulous.

Your new tattoo's bandage should be taken off after an
hour, three hours maximum. Wash your tattoo gently with
your fingertips using a mild soap and warm water, then
apply Bepanthen as instructed below.

Do not scrub your tattoo with a washcloth for the one or
two week healing period. Bandaging during this time is not
necessary.

Tattoo Care Instructions
Apply a thin layer of Bepathen over the entire area,
remembering that a little amount goes a long way.
Keeping it moist can help prevent heavy scabbing but
suffocation can encourage the ink to fall out. Apply
just enough to give a light shine, twice daily during
healing. It is advised to apply three times a day for
larger works, such as big tribal pieces.

It is always important to keep any fresh wound clean,
however long showers or baths should be avoided for 2
weeks as it can retard healing. This also includes
swimming in pools or the ocean, hot tubs, and saunas.
Short showers are best, under ten minutes if possible.

It is normal for your tattoo to form scabbing and shed
small coloured flakes, picking at the scab will cause
your tattoo to loose colour. Itching is a normal part
of healing, do not scratch or rub the area regardless
of how itchy it may become. Gently slapping the area
can help relieve the itching sensation.

Sunburn during healing can cause it to form a larger
scab and fade the colours, delay the healing cycle and
may possibly promote scarring. Wait until it is FULLY
healed before you go back in the sun or a tanning bed.
Sun is a very bad thing for any tattoo, even after
it's healed. Once healed, make sure your tattoo is
always protected by a high quality sunblock to keep it
looking it's best.

You should always check with your artist before you
change any of your aftercare procedures, your
individual artist may make suggestions for specialised
situations.

The studio is open from 15.00 til 1.00 seven days a week.

needles that are steralized by an ultrasonic cleaner.
We are proud of out safe Tattooing procedures so don't
hesitate to ask any questions.

For Appointment....
We are open for "walk in" services at any time but
large tattoos need preperation so appointments are
necessary. If you have your own design or want our
custom designs the choice is yours. A 10% Deposit is
required before when the appointment is made. Please
give us 24 hour notice if you are unable to attend your
appointment so we can re-schedual. Without giving us
notice you will loose your deposit.

Cost of Tattoos depends on size, placement,
complexity, style and colour.

Tattoos are famous for hurting but the discomfort
depends on each individual. To make sure your
experience is pleasant come prepared. Be sure to have
eaten, rested, prepare your mind and feel positive.
The most tender areas differ fom person to person so
talk to lots of people with Tattoos or come and hang
out in the shop to watch others. While you are in the
shop there is a chance for a fire show through the
window as we double as meeting point for fire
spinners and jugglers.
